I have a staggered set of Genuine OEM M-Parallel's off an E38 7-Series.
Fronts 18x8 ET: +13
Rears 18x9.5 ET: +25
Front Wheels are Flawless, with some meat left on the tread.
Rear Wheels have Very Minor curb rash, but you need to get down on both knees to notice. Rear tread is decent.
Note: Current tires are too big for the E34.
Note: I never mounted these on my E34, and I just sold my car so I'm parting ways with these. The specs I provided are what the P.O. told me so I'm going off that. They are OEM Quality. BMW & the part number are stamped on the inner-side.
I am not interested in shipping, so only local buyers please. That way you can verify in person what I'm selling is true. I'm not a Deadjudis, as he has become somewhat of a celebrity on here from what I read.
I can't post pictures yet so message me and I'll Email photo's.
I am located in Phoenix/Tempe, AZ.
I'm asking $950.00 for the set, thank you.

Cornflake, is that really necessary? Now I have no sympathy for you getting scammed.
If I can't sell I will just use them as a spare set when I get my E38. I'm just asking what I payed, that's all.

Unless I had a set of style 5's for sale in our area for a good price then I'm happy keeping my mpars.

Wait, I got confused, this is your for sale ad http://eugene.craigslist.org/pts/3047398789.html
but you don't want to sell because there are no style 5s for sale in your area? :confused

I'd trade my set of style 5s for a set of OEM M-pars any day of the week. :D

Correct. The only set I have found is from a guy running them on his E36 and he want's some ridiculous price.

As did I. Being cheap pays off. $950 is steep.

I wouldn't call a fair market value being cheap.

That was actually about 4 years ago. It was pretty cheap then.
Paid the same for my M-Systems with T-Star covers and tires 2 years ago.
Had to go into my pocket for the staggered Alpinas. $600 with tires.
I'm cheap. ;)

Yeah that is cheap in that sense, I picked up a set of mint style 5's four years ago for $300 with new tires. Now evvvvvvvveryone has a set and want's to sell them for $500-$1000

Sorry for the profanity earlier. It's just every time E34croak replies to any of my ads or post it's always something negative. It takes all the fun out of this forum.
As for my "high price"; I paid $950 for the set 2 months ago and never got a chance to install them on my old E34 before I sold it. I'm not looking to loose any money on them. If I can't get my outrageous price I'll just use them as a spare set for when I get my 2001 740i Sport.
I know it saves to be cheap but look at it as if you were in my situation. Would you jump right into loosing $500 on a set of wheels you bought 2 months ago? No, I think not.
But we are all entitled to our own opinions I suppose.

If I may, croak is one of the most knowledgeable and genuine people I know. So to state he is nothing but negative is news to me. In reply to your statement about would we take a $500+ hit on m pars two months later? Well that answer would be no because we would have never paid $950 for a set in the first place. It sounds like this set is better off kept right where they are, in your possession.

I think the point is, the thread is humorous because you paid too much, which has been clealry substantiated, now you are looking for some sucker to make the same mistake you did. Maybe a BMW forum isn't the place to post these at a crazy price? You are bound to get negative responses.

keep them. Or at the VERY least, put new tires on them and then sell for $950.

This I could agree with, If they were mint and I mean factory mint. With new tires then yes the price is justified. However admitting to what you paid and then expecting guys (who most likely already have a set of m pars and paid $500) will not appreciate you trying to pull one over on a less educated member.

I am surprised that this forum can hold any new members. Even before this post I've seen mostly negativity towards new members, and it's not just me. If your here to pick fights, go to Xbox Live.

Actually, you may be confused. This is well know for being the most brutal of the BMW forums. Pretty much par for the course in my experience.

Joke is certainly on the new owner if they paid $900 for a set of E38 M-Pars.
And this forum is pretty tame. Try that stuff on mye28.com as a newbie and see how you fare.

Agreed. The new owner should have looked more closely, and he would have discovered M-Pars for more than half the cost, that even have tires on them. I could see someone paying $900. If and ONLY if the M-Pars had brand new tires on them.

You should find out who the buyer was, maybe he is looking for an overpriced car too?:D
Sorry, couldn't resist.
