How do I replace the actual mirror?

As the title says, how do I pop out the side mirrors, just the mirrors? Any special procedures?

I am doing this because a friend's mirrors have a tarnished coating.

Tilt the mirror all the way up or down. get your fingers in there and gently pull. The mirror glass will pop out.

If you already have the replacements, it's obvious how they're held in place.
