p.s. i was checking the service history that they provide me on the car and something caught my attention, at 25K miles it says: SIB 13-03-08
LBL 518 hi pressure pump, what's that?
and and then at 51K miles it says hi Pressure Pump N54?
Also at 25K miles control module for steering colum switch cluster SZL assy incorrect connection?

The closer you can get to $20k the better. It's not a bad deal at 22k for a coupe. Way too high for a sedan though. What about the options? Find out if it has the sports package, premium package, cold weather package, etc. Oh and find out if it's certified pre-owned (CPO). This can add substantially to the value...even better if the dealer doesn't know that it's a CPO car if it's not a BMW dealership.

The high pressure pump recall and replacement are very common if you search around you'll find more info than you ever wanted to know. N54 is the engine code for all 135, 335, 535 models and others (twin turbo 3.0 liter).

I believe the SZL module is referring to the assembly with the turn signals, wipers, and cruise control and steering angle sensor. The steering angle sensor is a commonly replaced part and it's good that it has already been done.

Do a search in this problems for 335i common problems. I think there is a thread somewhere about a mile long about it. Not to scare you or anything...the 335 is quite possibly the most fun car you have ever driven.

I could go on and on but you are in the right place for research.

Thanks for a great advice, it's a coupe black on black, with sport package and 18 wheels, key less entry, and paddle shifts, wood trim, new tires, no nav, etc, thanks again

Not cpo though
