Has anyone painted wood trim pieces?

Just wondering if anyone has pics or a how to: for painting the interior wood trim pieces? If I decide to keep my car I might plasti dip my wood pieces black.

donno about painting with plastic dip. even tho it is easy to remove

what about vynal wrap?maybe you can do carbon or matt black. might come out more even than plastic dip.

I have definitely considered painting mine matte black but haven't yet. Too afraid I'll break something.
