Has anyone put clear lamin x on their bimmer headlights? I am looking for some sort of protection for my headlights to protect them from getting scratched up?

Any reviews or suggestions of what to do to protect the headlights from nicks?

When I bought my '08 328xi E92 a few weeks ago, the headlights were already Lamin-X'd. The car also has a clear bra, which I believe is Lamin-X as well.

I gotta assume that the previous owner put it on there for protection. I haven't driven a lot in the car, but I've got a cross-country trip coming up in a few weeks. I'm hoping the Lamin-X holds up and protects the paint and lights.

I put some on my '09 E90 shortly after I bought it. Not sure of the brand now, but think I got them from BavarianAuto. They came with protection for the fog lights too, but I didn't apply them. The ones on the headlights look just like when I put them on, and the car now has about 78000 km on it. They were a little tricky to put on, but I just followed the instructions. Seem to remember t was important to keep them wet, and then then slowly scrap out the water from under the laminate.

I've put yellow Lamin-X on my fog lights as the lenses are glass. As far as I know the headlight lens covers are plastic, so not much point in covering them...
