Well according to Motor Trend...
'98 Volvo S70 T5: 2.3L turbo I5 w/ 236hp, 5M/fwd, 0-60 in 6.4s, and 1/4 in 14.9@96.7
'99 Volvo S80 T6: 2.8L twin turbo I6 w/ 268hp, 4A/fwd, 0-60 in 6.8s, and 1/4 of 15.2@90.9
Im not really a Volvo guy (like any of us are ;) ), but I think the S70 is more 'sporty' and the S80 is more 'sedany' (hope no one minds if I make up my own adjective). I like the new Volvos anyway... Volvo realized they can make a safe car without making it weigh 4000lbs, have 140hp, and be made out of three lead blocks. Talk about a huge leap forward.
