Before I tear it down? I'm pretty sure it's screwed :(

Meaningful stuff. 1994 M50TU, ~180k miles, was in good running order when pulled. It sat for maybe a year and a half before I completed my turbo build and has smoked like a chimney since I first started it. I just bought a compression tester today with the results below:

Cyl Dry Wet
1 - 105 - 150
2 - 215 - 240
3 - 185 - 210
4 - 120 - 165
5 - 210 - 235
6 - 115 - 150

I added ATF/Acetone mix to 1, 4, and 6 and after sitting for a few hours, the next compression test actually came back good - 210+ psi on all 6. That only lasted while it was wet though, when I redid the test after firing the engine, 1, 4, and 6 all read 120 psi.

Video - note that there is no PCV/CCV system on this motor, but this CAN'T be normal plus it runs like absolute crap. Also, sorry about the slide show... yay rooted/flashed thunderbolt.

How long have you ran it? I had a similar issue with a E30 that I let sit for a few years. It just took a couple hard drives to unstick the rings and get everything back to normal.

Maybe 20 miles. Other than that, I've let it idle up to temperature a bunch of times. It doesn't run well enough to be roadworthy though :-/

A crap load of wiring and some vacuum lines that haven't been trimmed yet.
