Unhappy with wheels

Hello everyone. My f30 is my 3rd BMW and the first one without staggered wheels. I have the black sapphire sport line loaded with all the bells and whistles with 18's. Love the car, I think the 18's are nice looking, but not wide enough on the rear. I've only had the car for 2 months and I'm already contemplating purchasing the 19's with the 225's up front and the 255's in the rear. My question to others "is it worth it". Come to find out it was only another $900 for the option. This car was sitting in the showroom when I first saw it. Like I said it was a loaded sport pack and I ASSUMED it had staggered wheels. Didn't notice until delivery! It's really driving me crazy. Thanks

They changed this to get better mileage. Honestly, you should have noticed that, it was not subtle. Anyway, only you could decide if it is worth to you. Mostly for looks but it could have some benefit in aggressive driving.

On my 5-series I actually switched back to a square set-up and went just a little wider on the front to help even it out. I did this since it is just a DD and I wanted to be able to rotate the tires. Sport pack BMWs will wear through rears in a hurry. So that is the bright side! You won't be able to pick up those 19's for $900 after the sale, but there are plenty of other aftermarket wheels that can give you the look you're after if you're really unhappy with the 18's.

I've got the almost same setup as the OP. Same color with Sport-line except mine is a 328. I really like the OEM wheels. I like the staggered look but don't miss it. Of course it's just personal opinion.

In my opinion, 18" wheels do look small on the F30. 19" wheels fill up the wheel well evenly and do look perfect. There are tons of aftermarket wheels available for you to choose from. Please see below for a couple installed pictures!
