Front turn signal lenses

So I've decided I really want to get new turn indicator lenses for the front of my 86 635 but I want to get the flush lenses like on the Euro spec cars or the 88/89 us spec cars. but will those work with my car? or is the housing/ grille slightly different from the dumbo ear blinkers that stick out on mine?

Yep, they'll work. You pretty much have to get rid of one bit of the housing and it'll bolt right on (you'll go from two bulbs to one). Lots of people have done this conversion (myself included). I'd recommend buying some chrome spray though to spray the inside of the next housing, so everything reflects properly. You'll also need some shorter screws as the US elephant ears have one super-long one, but I ran mine with only two screws for a while and it was fine.

I can also recommend a place to buy a pair, however, I've been looking for someone to buy my current amber ones as I want to get clear ones. If you're interested, I could sell you mine for a good deal (they're $95 + shipping at http://klearz.com/bmw.html (the ones at the bottom ). Send me a PM if you're interested. We're both in CA so the shipping wouldn't work out to be much.

I think I have some euro turn signal lens housings somewhere. Lemme try to dig them up when I get home tonight. Unfortunately, I only have one euro lens, and it has a crack in it.
