securing valuables

So i was thinking today that the only problem with a mini is if you wanted to hide your valuables or something bigger than the existing storage you could not - they would be in plain site.

DOes anyone make a case that could be installed in the mini to secure valuables? I was thinking that it would cover the rear seats and make it a two seater, but at least then you would have more security.

if they do not, would you as a mini owner be interested in something like this assuming it was aesthetically pleasing?

They make something like that for Jeep Wranglers. A steel box. However, I don't need anything like that where I live... luckily!

To get it to fit over the seats may take quite a bit of doing. Wonder if an upholstery shop could come up with something?
