Help!! Door lock latch

Is there any trick to take this stupid thing out of my door? I put the window up and remove all the wires and torx but seems like it is stuck behind the window rail track.

Any idea?

is the door panel off? The interior panel? Think you need to have that off, right?

Front or rear? remember the hidden torx bolt behind the door seal!

My E34 Touring rear lock actuator got replaced yesterday, took me like... 1hr from start to finish.. piece of piss.

Yes i took panel off and 3 torx off also. It is freely moving (driver front) but i cant get it off the door because it is behind the window rail track. Latch is L shaped and it should slide out from behind the rail but some reason i cant get it out.

may sound stoopid but would lowering the window not move the rail beneath the latch area?

Well if i lower it than i have no space to work with my hands. I tried lowering putting it up all the way. Either it does not slide out. This is one of the stupid design i have ever seen.

You say you removed wires.. what about the cable that connects to the handle..

That is attached. It does not attached to handle so it should not matter. It is not holding on anything. Like i said it is so weird that it moves up and down. I can slightly turn it towards to me but then it get stuck on rail and door panel.
