New Radiator Issue

I bought a behr replacement radiator for my e36 323is and it came with a coolant tank attatched to it on the opposite side and it will not fit in the engine bay. Is this a common problem, do i need to send it back and get another one or is there a way that I can take the tank off and just use the old one?

strange. Maybe you got one for a right hand drive model.

Isn't that how the 318 radiators are?

I just put a new Behr into my 323iC from Zygmunt and it fits perfectly and the old tank just plugs into it just like on the old one. Pretty sure you have the wrong radiator. Send it back and start over.
