What am I going to do now?

I bought new roundels for my E34 Touring. I go out and take the back one off, pops right off, brand new one right in. I go to the front, pop it off and this little surprise was there.

The question is, what the hell do I do? Do I go and cut the pins off the back of the brand new roundel and glue it on? If I glue it, what glue do I use?

My car looks stupid without a front emblem on.

If you widen the holes, proper roundels will never fit again. I say you snap off/cut off the pins and do a semi-strong double sided tape (Like 3M grey VHB tape)

I ended up drilling the holes out as deep as the grommet. The old grommets got caught on the drill and the new ones fit in tight. I didn't replace the trunk grommets because they were perfectly fine and the roundel fit tightly.
