CJRUCK

So I am replacing my clutch and have gotten to the point where I must remove my driveshaft. My problem now is that I cannot get the bolts off the guibo, anyone have this problem as well? I saw they are to be torqued to 88lbs, yet I have tried to take them off with my impact turned all the way up, and they will not budge. Any advice?

I've removed a couple BMW drive shafts (although not on either of my E36's) and never had to use anything more than a breaker bar with a short length of pipe slipped over it for extra leverage.

Open end wrench on the tranny side and a 1/2" drive socket on the driveshaft side. They start hard but they really do come off

+1 but use a 6 point socket.
