Sparco Strut Bar Quesiton

[E36 Projekt]

i was looking at this Sparco strut bar i saw on another forum http://store.bimmerworld.com/sparco-front-strut-tower-bar---steel-p517.aspx but the guy in the forum also had an S52 valve cover conversion. is this required for the bar to fit? :help

The bar does cross the rear of the valve cover about where the cover hold down nut is, so it might interfere with fill cap.

The bar is flexible. I would buy a non-hinged stiffer bar, or weld in 1 or 2 cross braces to the Sparco. That one little corner gusset does little. I sold mine. The E30 Sparco is a different brace and is pretty good, in comparison.

The best E36 brace is the Mason brace, but it costs more.
