I parked my car outside a Thai restaurant. I ate at the restaurant. I came outside to drive my car, wanted to roll the windows back up to turn on the AC for my girl. I discovered something troubling. Somehow my car has lost power to the windows, power locks, and interior lights. My window is currently rolled down, and I tried a trick where you turn the key to the right for 10 seconds, everything about it is dead. If i lock one door, none of the others lock, etc. I can't find a single blown fuse in the entire box, I inspected all the fuses related to the power locks, and windows. :(
TLDR: Lost power to windows, interior lights, and power locks. What's wrong?

pull the fuses and test them all with a meter. You wouldn't believe how many fuses Ive found that looked good but tested bad. If everything else in the car works ok and the car runs ok it has to be a fuse. Theoretically it could be your body module (ZKE) but I doubt it. Those are pretty reliable.

Well it seems like it would be the ZKE. This happened on a reasonably warm day... I don't know. I rolled the window up by hooking the battery directly to the motor :| Anyone experience this issue? Also I read that 09/94 and before have the comfort module, and after does not but mines a 04/94 and there was no comfort module under the dash...

92 and 93 had the comfort relay. Its a blue relay just above where the clutch pedal would be. You have to remove the metal knee bolster to see it. Just to the right of the steering column. The comfort relay doesn't control interioir lights.

Just in case anyone searches for this. The problem did lie in the ZKE General Module. I had to remove it from the car, and take the plastic case off completely. There was a very slight amount of corrosion bridging a few connections on the bottom side, that was hard to see even with 20/20 vision. It came off with my finger nail, I scanned the rest and plugged it in. Hopefully this helps! Only applies to 94+ cars.
