Crazy thing happened to me last night. Coming off the highway in a rain storm my wipers stopped working all together. I tried re-activating the auto sensing wipers, moving the lever to normal and fast modes and nothing happened. Had to actually pull off the road as I could not see well enough to drive in traffic until rain storm subsided. While pulled off tried shutting off car and restarting a few times and wipers were still locked up. After making it home and having the car sit in garage for 15-20 mins, I got back in, started it up and the wipers worked again normally. I was relieved, but sort of freaked out that they could just stop working altogether in the middle of a storm. Really hoping this was just a one off problem and I somehow trippped up the electonics or something toggling between settings as I exited the highway. Anyone else ever had this problem or heard of it? Thanks.
