Hey guys, so i have searched around quite a bit and can't find the solution to my problem:

I just rebuilt my engine, and dropped it in and everything, and everything worked great, except now as soon as i hit about 3000 rpms i gets a pretty bad sounding rattle. There is no difference in performance or anything like that, and i have searched all around the car for the noise, and established that it is coming from inside the bell housing, i'm pretty positive. I have laid underneath the car and listened while it was revved. I have tightened and checked my bell housing bolts, it's not the exhaust, it's not any heat shield that has come loose.

Has anyone else had this issue? if so, how do i fix it?!

thanks

Sorry, i'm from Holland but what's a bell housing?

And what kind of rattle? Like marbels in a tin can or like a small hammer hitting something rapidly?

Bell Housing is where the Transmission meets the Engine Block.

And rattling like small hammer hitting something rapidly. And, it's consistent, and constant. It's not sporatic. It definitely is related to the rotation of the engine (as in, there isn't a bolt sitting in there getting knocked around).

Loose torque converter or flywheel bolts
