Question on hubcentric rings with my HP Evo's

My wheels are finally ready to be mounted at which time i'll take and post the first pics of my car on this forum. I got hubcetntric rings for my HP evo's the other day but i'm not sure how they are supposed to go on. One end of the spacer is flared while the other is relatively thin. Does the flared section go up against the hub or the wheel? thanks.

I can't say on that wheel but ours would be with the flared side out.
