carsoft pasoft transmission help!

What Software works with the e34 Dis,inpa ect that would allow me to make changes to the transmission and engine. I have the ebay pasoft cables but this doesn't seem to work with the e34s or obd1 i figure i need carsoft the info on this for e34 is a little hard to find

i have a server pc windows 2000, real rs232 port

Ive watched videos on Dis,Inpa,SSS.30 and dont see the option for e34's

DIS worked on my 530i and 540i no problem, I didn't have the setup when I had my 525i's.. Get Gerts interface, interface has to be directly from serial port to the 20 pin under the hood.
It has the e34 and e32 options for all the modules.

I'm using the 20pin to serial rs232 hooked up directly ignition key to position 2? when i get to the diagnostics test i cant communicate with the car i followed romneys guide very carefully and dis+tis work well just no communication i don't think i have the cables set up right could anyone clarify on this
