hi all,
i know that subject may sound crazy and freak some of you out but i was hoping to ask this question because i have both (currently procede installed) and was thinking this would be the ultimate way to test the 2 for a true comparison.
Was thinking why not set the procede on Map 0 (stock like) and set the COBB to stage 1 and do a few runs with the procede. Once tested, set the COBB to stock map and flick the procede to stage 1 while im used to the car.
Just thought id throw this out there and see if it can be done? I realise you would never have both products on any tuned map at the same time!
I haven’t tested my COBB yet as it just arrived a few days ago and was planning to pull the procede out over the weekend.
For those who are wondering why pull the procede v5 out and place the COBB in? Well, im just not happy with the randomness and weirdness i cop with the procede. The drivability is just not as polished as i would lik it to be. I have owned many cars with flashed ECUs and they perform like stock until you give them a boot full of gas and go hard and smooth. THe procede seems like it kinda fights for setting with the DME so you get strange boost lag when you need it to get up and go, mild jerkiness which feels crap for a BMW (acceptable if in a jap car). It’s just not refined enough for my liking.
Ive done ALL of the recommended things to remedy these refinement issues (new plugs, HPFP, coils and injectors)

Shouldn't be an issue from what I can tell, just don't try to run both being 'active' at the same time. I think that a few people are actually running a piggyback with Cobb for meth injection and other small things that Cobb doesn't have yet.

I've noticed the Cobb doesn't necessarily have good every day driveability on the aggressive map. Full throttle it's fine, but partial throttle it's a bit wonky.
