I'd just like to give a public thanks to Bert Poliakoff.

Recently there was a thread from a member needing a wiring diagram for an early E12 based Euro sixer and Bert said he could supply it. Well I contacted him as well and got one from him yesterday and it will be a great resource for me. He also turned me on to a part I needed, not in his inventory, and I got that today...it's perfect Bert!

As many of you may know Bert is going through a complete restoration of his '81 Euro and has gained a great deal of knowledge through this process and has been very willing to share it to those of us that have the early E12 based cars. Info for these cars is not always easy to come by since there is more info on the E28 based cars, (I'm sure because there are many more later cars out there), so my Hat's off to you Bert...Thanks again!

I have seen Bert's restoration in person. It a awesome sight. I am glad I got to see it before it gets finished. I'll be able to appreciate it even more when completed knowing whats under the skin. In this case beauty is certainly skin deep.

As for Bert, I concur. Although I have not personally bought anything from him (YET) he has helped me with information on many times. I have seen him contribute to this forum on many occasions.
