my car almost died on me last week. what are these codes telling me?

so last week, my car almost stalled out and died while trying to acceleratate. At the same time, my battery light was flickering and rpm dropped under 500 and almost dipped to 0. It also seemed that i had to press on the gas pedal harder just to get some acceleration. Ended up driving my car home and parked it aside to read some codes.
Since I have a generic code reader, i was given P0442 and P1250.
It definetely cant be the gas cap. My car also has rough idle where it would constantly dip to 200 rpm every 5 seconds sometimes or sometimes every 15-30 seconds.
Can anyone please help me :(

1250 can be anything. You need a proper reader for that one for sure.

I sort of think that P1250 may not be a valid code on a 2000 328 . The first actions should be to have the car scanned by someone with a BMW specific diagnostic system, have a smoke test run on the intake, and have a crank crank case pressure check run.
