BMW i8 hybrid-electric super car spied!

A year ago experts saw what they thought was more of a publicity stunt than a viable model for a car. What they saw last year is the i8 hybrid electric (http://www.automedia.com/Blog/Post/SPIED-Pre-Production-BMW-i8-Hybrid-Electric-Supercar-on-Secret-Test-Track.aspx?utm_source=adamforum&utm_medium=bimmerforums) super car, which was recently spied. Personally I think the car looks awesome. I'm interested to see how it turns out once it's in production. What do you guys think of the design and of the hybrid engine?

Looks great as I saw it at the NYCIAS last month but at a supercar price at non supercar performance, I'll pass.

EDIT: I couldn't afford it anyway, lol.

they have been telling us in training that this car was a go for over a year now. they just couldnt decide on a power plant for US market.

very neet car, would buy one if price was in 60 range but it most likely will be over 120 for that car.
