What other places do you folks find other E34'ers?

I stole a boot from a company that tried to put one on my car, then I clamp it on other e34's that I see around town and put my phone number on the windscreen.

They come to my work complaining about how expensive parts for these old piles are. We get along great.

Usually on the road as I pass them, most of them don't even notice. Not too many others than that, 525's mostly, even my neighbor and his 525 slush, Bronzit(nice guy). Their is a black e28 also but, that guy is uptight or something. He never waves or smiles.

I looked at the r3v fiver section and there's about a dozen threads, most of them really noobish.

I'm glad. If this wasn't the case this place would be like the E36 section... :shifty

You know, sometimes I think we are the odd bunch, but I've had a lot of people who are not into BMWs tell me how they adore the body shape and how modern yet "classic" my "3 series" is and how much they like it. So, we can't be that crazy!

This is the answer to the question: "How does one make an Isetta fast?"
A question few people have asked.
And back to the OP, bimmerforums.com is an excellent resource. There are a few Groups and Pages on facebook, but most of the active members are in Europe.
I'm glad this forum is as popular as it is. All the Lexus SC300 forums are full of people that don't work on their cars, other than wheels and audio. Asking a technical question in one of those forums is like spitting into the wind.

When I had my e28, I'd go to bmw5.co.uk for a bit, buncha e34 people there. They changed the site awhile back though and I didn't care for the new version near as much.

I have found two E34 people in this area... and they're older dudes. Everyone else is a soccer mom or 80 year old. One was a few years ago when I went to buy random parts off CL from him... and the other was recently when I stopped him at Freedom Wash to give him a high five for a clean E34. He had a super clean black 530 on chrome (ew) MPars... but it was lowered on vogts/h&r's. Turns out he has an e21, an e30, an e39 and an e46 as well. This area has a lot of military, and most of them take their fancy government paychecks to buy something e46 and newer. "Old cars" don't appeal to too many people. I suck it up and deal with the e46 fanatics group and e90 bros until I can spend time with my e34 brethren at Bimmerfest.
