Mechanic Shops

It always seems like I can never find a good mechanic and every mechanic gives me prices that are so way off and the work is rarely good. I always know what is wrong and what parts I need before I go.

I would do the work myself but I don't really have the time and am not as good as I would like to think.

Would you guys agree with me on this? If there was a way to get multiple estimates from local repped shops would you use it?

Way off compared to what? If they're all doing it, how do you know they're all charging too much?

I don't think people realize the level inflation we had.

This is why I do all of my work myself. I don't trust other people to take as much care in working on my car as I do. I've also never met a mechanic that I could trust.
