First BMW! 89 535i, few questions!

First off, where can I buy some coilovers? it's sitting on springs now that I don't care for too much. And also, what other things would be nice to do to a BMW? :)

ALSO, when I accelerate from a stop in first gear, there is a repetitive knocking noise that knocks about 6 times then goes away, what could be causing that noise? Easy fix? Does it have to be fixed asap?

The knocking you hear, is it from beneath the car around where the handbrake is? If so you have a failed support for the driveshaft center bearing. Fairly common, pretty easy DIY.
Post in the E34 section, you'll get more replies. Be prepared for flame job over that window decal.

Congrats on a great car. Hope it was a good buy. Agreed on the center support and heading over to the e34 forum.
