Been looking at a couple that say BMW CERTIFIED PRE-OWNED 6-YEARS OR 100,000 MILES.They are at an actual BMW dealership. One has 68k miles and the other 77k.
Now does that CPO mean that it is 6yrs from when it is purchased or 6yrs from 2006 which would mean 2102?:confused As for the warranty,I figure if it hit 100k miles then it wouldn't matter either way.
Could I actually purchase an warranty extension form them to extend it further?
Sorry for the dumb questions, just want to get all my ducks in a row before I go check them out.

Found it. Looks like I would be better off just putting the money in the bank for that "JUST IN CASE" scenario. The wording makes it seem better than it actually is.

6 year from 1st date of service. Don't think the dealers offer any warranty extensions past that, you'd have to go aftermarket assuming you can find a warranty worth the money it is printed on. Be careful and pick wisely and don't forget to scrutinize the fine print. So yeah, a savings account is better.

I agree with mryakan about aftermarket warranties. just set aside some funds for future issues with the cars. The 330i is a very reliable car as I too own one. Id be glad to answer any questions about the car. Its going to be hard to find a 330i with CPO warranty because most have or are just coming out of warranty this next year or so. mine just ended this past October. Some advise is Id look for one with some good options like Sports Package and Idrive. Like is said if you have questions about the 330i about common issues and stuuf let me know.
