Both rear windows on my 95 525I won't move. The manual says to lower the window for the repair, but I can't, unless there is someway to do it manually. Could the windows just be stuck from not being used? At least that would be an easy fix. Any help would be appreciated. Also, when I depress the control I here a click at the window motor.

"could they be stuck from non use? "
Certainly. While holding the button give the door a few good hard whacks. This will often shock a sleepy motor back to life.

Both suddenly stopped working in the back? Do they make any noise? If they don't even make noise there are a couple things I would check before doing anything else.
1. Try toggling the window lock button a few times
2. Check fuses
If neither of those fixed the issue I would try swapping the window lock button, it would be weird for both motors to suddenly die or for both sensors to be messed up at the same time.

I can't remember for sure, but isn't there a rear window lock on e34's. Might have gotten inadvertently pushed.

Yes, good point. It's in the center of the main window switch cluster on the console. I don't think they will click as described if locked out though.
