What's left? The drains are totally clog free. When I brake, the water just falls right into my crotch.
Do I need to coat the rain channel with some superhydrophobic spray?

Are you leaking from the fronts only? I can't think of anything better then replacing the hoses. You probably have a crack or a disconnect. Unfortunately, the headliner must come down for that, right?

Leaking from front and back. The water seems to be pooling up in the drainage channel, though it does drain.
I think I'll just have to recheck the drainage rates and try to see if its been clogged up some more

Open the sun roof and carefully pour water into the tray . You can then deduce which of the four drains is not flowing free and clear. Don't overpour though as even perfect drains can only handle so much before the tray wil overflow into the car.

Good idea. When I had this issue in my 2002 VW GTI, I ended up individually testing the drains at each corner of the sunroof. Turns out 3 out of 4 were properly clogged at the low end, but with some 'massaging' of the funky nipples on the ends (that didn't come out right!), I was able to get all of the accumulated gook out.
I hope the OP's problem doesn't involve any plumbing problems above the headliner or within interior body panels, as this will be much harder to access.

Taylor is on to something; I found my rear drain lines took several insertions with heavy weed-wacker line, rear drains have a purse type pucker located about 8 inches down from where line leaves roof pan. The pucker area is stiff and by passing line through, it loosens up and allows a faster flow to outside.

Just checked all 4 drains. LR gushes water, RR drips, LF and RF slowly drip.
A pain, because not one month ago I took apart the right rear headliner and blasted the crap out of the hose with an air compressor.
I guess I'm going to have to spray the fronts. Hopefully they'll unclog and I don't have to fish out the hose.
On the other hand, Lesson learned: Don't buy an old car with a sunroof.

Bigger lesson, Don't wet our pants! :D Sorry I couldn't resist.
I find it odd that they clogged again in one month. I don't know enough about the roof drain system but is it possible that the hoses are not properly attached to where they are suppose to be? Again, to clog in a one month period is very quick. Can you fish a thin wire through the drain hole without damaging anything?
