I've had pretty unsatisfactory results with everything else I've tried so I'm finally going to do it right, just wondering what kit I would need to do the whole interior ?

...use a spray bottle to apply, less mess and waste.

+1. I see that you have an '87, if it's an L6, you will need a ton more - at least 16oz. of each.

I got the large kit and it was enough to do my E34 twice with lots leftover.

It depends on the type of leather. But an L6 has the Napa leather so the product will actually go a long way compared to the Bison leather finishes. Don't be afraid of the product, use it in good quantity, you'll be surprised at the results, it is really good stuff IMHO. I don't use anything else. I gave away all my other products once I found Leatherique. I would go with at least the 16oz set because you should do the regiment a couple times (pending the current condition of your leather). I buy the stuff in 64oz sets (2x32oz set) because my Bison loves to drink the stuff.

It will take a lot to get the suppleness back into leather. If the leather is already in good shape, it won't take too much.
But i've done probably full 4 coats in my 635 over the course of a year, and even though it sits in the garage most of the time, the leather has only stopped degrading. I'm not sure if Leatherique has the ability to really restore the leather.

And your bare hands to spread the product all over (rubber gloves work too).

From what I read, massaging it in by hand is ideal. It's also ideal to take the seats out and lay plastic drop cloth over them and place them in direct sunlight for a few hours. That is the best way to get it to work into the leather.

Follow the directions well. Baking of the leather is essential. I believe that Leatherique somehow has the ability to restore the correct pH levels to the leather. Giving your leather the best chance to be cleaned and maintained at the right correct conditions with the best possible results. The Pristine Clean is amazing stuff, you interiors will love it, mines does :D

I ordered "Kit #2" which has a 16oz bottle of each product. That was plenty to do my whole interior. It's only $10 more than the 8oz kit and you get double the amount of product.

anyone got any extra red leather dye they don't need anymore? I literally need to do just 2 headrests, and they don't have to be a perfect match.

This is what I'm thinking. Thanks.
