does the shark injector disable speed limiter?

I was just wondering if the shark injector for E46 disables or removes the speed limiter...i know some software upgrades do but it didnt mention it on any of the websites i've seen

i live near keller, the haltom, nrh, watauga area...my daily driver is an 01 330i, alpine white with premium package (stock for now) and i have a 88 celica alltrac (awd turbo model, designed for rally racing and produced in limited #'s so toyota would meet WRC regulations) that is my project car...

where in dfw do you live?
