Few Questions about the 'ZF' Automatic...

I remember reading somewhere that you shouldn't rev the car in Neutral... as it causes the transmission to 'Grenade'...

1. What exactly is 'Grenading' a transmission? what causes it?
2. Would it be okay to rev the car in Park?

If you start the car in its in park, then you rev it, its ok, but, if you put it in drive then put it back into part, then rev it it could cause damage due to the pressure build up. After you put it in drive, and then put it back in to park you must turn it off for around 60 seconds then re-start it. I am not too sure if this info is right but this is what i was told by several automatic 6er owners.
