I bought this receiver from a reputable used parts dealer. Unfortunately one BMW dealer gave me the wrong part # and this one isn't compatible with my car. The print out from my dealer indicates this model is compatible with 3-series built from 03/06 to 08/06. It likely is compatible with other BMW series and Minis, but you should check this with your dealer before buying. Mounting bracket is not included. It costs around $50- and is readily available from dealers.
