GT1 OBD 16-pin

i have gt1 native installation on ibm t30. diagnistics with old 20-pin socket works perfekt. when i connct with 16-pin obd is there no communication to car. when i looked at dis is the gt1 online and accessible and both light, green and orange, in gt1 are on....

can anyone help please....

Why bother with 16 pin if 20 pin works perfectly. If the car has both, you only have a few modules from 16 pin anyway and all from 20 pin.

ive tried at e49 and e39 newer model. both have no 20-pin connector.....

Make sure that the cap is fitted to the 20 pin port before you try accessing the 16 pin OBD port. The cap is fitted with jumpers to activate the OBD port. If the cap is fitted and you still cannot access the OBD port, you need to check fuses and wiring to the 16 pin port.
