Well finally got around to matching my rear trim (previous diy..posted earlier for the front trim) to my front trim. Came out pretty good....enjoy.

This all is the result of the window tinters getting my felt wet, which released it from the trim piece, and created wrinkles, which made it look like sh!t.

1. First step is to remove the rear seat. This part, that houses your hiney, can be removed by pulling up on the front edge, then pulling the seat forward towards the engine.

2. Then remove the backrest by pulling toward the engine on the top edge of the backrest ('POP'), then pulling the seat up. The clips at the bottom edge of the back rest will slide out of their matting holders.

These are the clip that just 'push into' the backrest ('POP')

The below is the mate to the above clip.

If you look closely at the below picture you will see 4 'u shaped clips, that merely slide into a corresponding bracket. Two are located at the extreme left and right of the backrest, with two more toward the middle, left and right (all at the bottom)

The below is the corresponding bracket that the 'U' clip slides into.

There all finished...backseat totally removed. This is a great time to Armourall and clean beneath the seat, all of the crap the previous owners left for you....SURPRISE!!!!

3. Now remove the trim by starting at the corner nearest the engine an pry out hard. There are two plastic push in clips that hold them on. Don't be scared, this will take some force. Unplug the lights once the trim piece is loose.

So now the trim is removed. Take to a clean work area for gluing.

Next, apply glue with a small art paintbrush to the loose felt and let dry. Obviously ensure to smooth out all of the wrinkles and bubbles and such for a nice clean flat mallet to paint...

Then paint to your color of choice, once the glue is dry.

Reinstall in reverse order for a fresh new look...
