I spent a lot of time with you guys over the last 3 years, I'm not just going to go away.
Anyway, I have secured my replacement:

A 2001 330ci, 5 speed, Sport pkg, Premium pkg, Cold weather pkg. Titansilber over light gray.
It's no E24, but there will be another down the road (and not for a daily driver like mine was). This car has eased the pain of losing the E24, but not completely. Still miss the E24.

Wow! That's a completely different ballgame right there. :D
Looks like it just rolled off the showroom floor!

Yes, it does. Especially after I detailed it yesterday. Pretty damn nice shape.
1 Owner. Kansas car it's entire life.
It doesn't have the character that the older cars do. It will do fine for a daily driver, though.

OK,
330i - Check
Coupe - Check
Sport Seats - Check
Heated Seats - Check
Black/Blue/Red - Nope
6spd - Nope
Well 4 out of 6 on my perfect E46 scale, not bad, not bad at all.
I'm still glad I went with the 944, even though it's been a pain, but whenever I see a very nice E46 like yours, it makes me think.
If you don't mind me asking, what did you pay?
I may get one in another year or so.

That seriously looks nice. I bet it's a nice solid, quiet cruiser, which is something I can appreciate after driving my E24 for a while. What's the power for a 330ci? ~230hp & tq right?

samsonevickis - $9.5k
Abbadon - Yep.
Thanks guys

I test drove one exactly like that except white last year and really liked it. If i had not bought a e31 that was the car on my list to buy next. One of the local dealers just got a black one in and i would probably be test driving it but my wife would kill me right now! I think the 330 coupe's are great looking cars and im sure you will enjoy it. Great purchase!

That is a nice looking car. I think that you definitely didn't jump into buying just any car that came your way. Congrats! I hope you find a clean E24 at some point as well.

Great looking car. I'm sure you'll enjoy it. When the time is right to buy a six again you'll know exactly what to look for and you'll end up with something really nice.

I just hope the prices of them don't jump before I can afford another. (That's a first... hoping the value of E24's DOESN'T go up. At least until I get another :D)

Nice car. Friend of mine has the convertible. Are those M3 wheels or do they come with the sport package?

They are Sport Package wheels. Style 68 I think. They do have little M badges right outside the lug pattern, though.

Take that E46 around some good turns, you'll forget about your E24 pretty quickly :devillook
Clean car but I still can't stress enough about the rear subframe mounts!
