so this might be a stupid question but here it goes. I have had a cracks in my windshield for almost a year now should i go with a generic windshield or bmw branded? I still have all original oem windows so I'm gonna be sad to see one without that logo on it haha.
what did all of you do? or do you still have all original windows? what's the verdict?

Check with your insurance. Florida is always free glass zero deductible with collision coverage.

Replaced mine when I bought it at a chain called Glass Masters. No problems at all.

add glass insurance if you don't already have it, wait a bit, file a claim, cancel glass insurance, sleep well.

no so... Get OE or at least OEM like PPG. My dad replaced the windshield on the 328 and it seems like it's a bit shorter in front so the glass doesn't sit flush against the cowl. Safelite did the work using crap stuff (forget the brand). Get a guarantee of work/satisfaction.
