m3 cams on 328 e36.

Just wondering what i need to swap s52 cams into an m52? i think the trays are the same so its a straight swap am i correct?

yea im pretty sure they just drop right in, just make sure all the shims and plates that go on the cam gears are there or VANOS wont work right.

Straight swap, but you need special tools for the vanos and cam timing and some comfort with a delicate DIY. The M52 springs are different, but most people run them when swapping in the S52 cam.
