My Brake Warning Light came on today while driving my 08 Clubman today. Plenty of pad (visible) on all four wheels, plenty of fluid. Approximately 33K on the clock.

Anyone have any ideas? I scanned the Maintenance Page and found nothing other than Service Required.

Which brake is the vehicle calling for.

No specific brake just the "Brake" warning light.

I know of you through the Z3 page - didn't realize you had a Mini also.
I have an '03 S which doesnt have pad sensors, but do the later Minis have them, the same as your M Coupe?
I have the same issue on one of my Coupes, and it was one of the pad sensors that came loose and grounded out.

Thanks for the reply. I'm not sure about if it has pad sensors or not. I guess I'll have to start digging.

They do have pad sensors and you have to pull the wheels to check. I know the rear sensor is in the passenger side. Don't remember which side the front is on. Don't just look at the pads, you have to pull the wheel and check the sensor. Also, if the light is already on, you need to change the sensor as well ($15). So make sure you get it as well. Once all done you may have to reset the indicator through the dash. Just google it for the procedure.
