I know we can use parts for the e28s on the later e24s, but I know there is always talk of using certain bushings from the 750il as well.

is there a master list of what upgraded parts from the other cars will fit ours suspension wise?

i.e. does the rear shock mount have to be e24 specific or are there upgraded ones to choose from?
same for the front strut mounts?

For the rear subframe mounts, I think I remember seeing on some site a listing for 750il ones as an upgrade for the e24, I could be mistaken tho.

Since I got the 633 last july, i've changed :
shocks and struts (meyle) front / rear sway bar end links / rear control (pittman) arms, center tie rod (drag link) / idlerarm / left & right tie rods/ I think that's it suspension wise.

I picked up front upper and lower control arms from FCP, the lower ones being aluminum.
this is the kit i picked up, http://www.fcpeuro.com/products/bmw-suspension-control-arm-upgrade-kit-e28-e24-e2816piece granted they had a crazy sale and it was 269 shipped when I bought it.
From the kit I already have the rear subframes, but if there is a beefier one I may go that route.

I'm ordering the HD motor mounts as mine are completely shot and the car shakes like hell when idling so I figure I may just go HDish everything while I'm at it.
Are there HD type trans mounts as well for the e24?

also, who makes the best front and rear upper strut bars? I know some people say they aren't worth it, but as tired as my e24 is, I think I'm going to try to find them.
Do they make lower front/rear strut bars for the e24? I've seen them on other cars, but didn't know if there was room for them on our cars.

I've seen on Bavauto's site the front urethane powerflex swaybar bushings, they also list a rear urethane, but only for pre 83. are they worth it for a stock swaybar/do they make a noticeable difference?

Thanks!

E32 UCA bushings can be used but should be milled down, Meyle used to make an UCA bushing that was a perfect fit no milling required. I have a set of poly UCA bushings that I would be willing to sell. What brand were the FCP ? Could be a good buy, or not...might be going back in there in a year or so if inferior brand. Suspension Techniques used to make a nice sway set , used to be group buys on them as they were not a regularly cataloged item. E32/E34 brake upgrades of course.
