View Full Version : Making the move MB to BMW 535i Xdrive

So I ordered it last week. After 25 years of MB's.....Jet Black, Cinnamon, Cold weather, Msport, Premium, Sound, Luxury seating,Tech, Ceramic, Side-top cameras, HUD, BMW apps.

$200 under invoice but added MACO $100 and Training/service fee $180.
Figured it wasn't worth arguing about that but was it ligit?

Should be in production now if not in the next few days as the dealer had a car inline for production.

SO....clear bra? Any paint sealant packages?

Clear bra all the way...that's what I'm doing to mine. Make sure you find a reputable shop to install it though...

That's totally what I'm hearing right now after buying my 535...I swear, if I lost ALL my sanity I'd be broke!

Not the whole hood, usually just half or a quarter of the hood...a good quality install won't even show the seam.

MYBMW sez it is on the ship. My CA was able to find out what boat it is on and gave me the website of fleetmon.com. I can see where the ship was in port and last known position in the sea. Due in port here 4/25 at the dealer 4/28. Wooo Hooo!!

Now I know why it takes so long to get here. The ship loaded the car at Bremerhaven then picked up cargo at Zeebruge BE then Southhampton GB. It's then going to Halifax Canada before coming to US. It's getting close to leaving the English Channel.

I ordered an invisimask kit from these guys, my 3rd set for different cars, easy to do. IF you should happen to ruin a piece, they will replace for cost and you don't have to buy the whole kit.
