Does all 4 corners of the car really need to be level to flush brake fluid? Or can I get away with lifting just the rear first, then front?

Also idk if it makes a difference but I'm using the pressure bleeder method.

ive always had the car up on stands to do it. much easier, and less time involved.

Right, but my question is will it make a difference if it isn't? Can I raise the rear, bleed, lower then raise the front, bleed, lower?

Every diy I've read and video I've watched all had all fours raised and were specific to mention "all four corners" need to be up. Never explained why though. =/

If you are using a pressure bleeder system it doesn't matter. In fact it doesn't matter if your not. The reason it says to All four corners in the air is because if not it will be a pain to get to the bleeder valves.
So to answer our question yes you can raise one end, bleed then move to the other end. Make sure you follow the proper route. I think the route is start at the passenger rear brake, then driver rear, then passenger front, driver front and finally your clutch( if your clutch is part of the same system).

I believe that is the correct method; but just to be sure double check.

Another word of advice. Even if you have a pressure bleeder have someone help you. Sucks doing it by yourself. Too much crawler under and out from under the car to check the fluid level and psi in the tank.

Yup, use a pressure bleeder and all of your worries will vanish, car absolutely does not need to be level.

I bled my brakes yesterday and I had one corner up at a time with my jack and jackstand. pedal is as firm as it should be :)
you can bleed the rears without taking wheels off, there is room......front wheels need to be off to get to the bleed screw and slip on bleed bottle/tube

before I began, I did a couple of ABS stops because my fluid level was pretty low but that is pretty unnecessary

I would jack the car up on all 4s anyways and have the wheels off so you can work quickly all around. I made 3 rounds just to be sure. Might have been overkill but I didn't want to do it again after letting the car back down. You don't want to get any of the fluid on the paint. That would ruin your day.

You can also jumper two pins in the abs pump to get it to run to bleed that if you feel like being super anal, or if you've run the system completely dry for some reason.

You can find that information in a search.
