Hi guys,
I've done some searching but have not found exactly what I'm looking for.
Would someone here with a nice PearlBeige interior be so kind to post some pictures of your interior? Also , if someone has a nice close up of the color and grain of the leather it would be awesome. I just found out the original interior color of my 85 635CSi is PerlBeige. The previous owner swapped the front and rear seats at some point for some gray comfort leather seats out of a 88/89 car with french stitching. They look decent but they don't match the beige door panels , carpet and headliner.
I work at an Italian car restoration shop and can easily get my hands on some very nice leathers/vinyls so I would like to see some good pictures.
Also, is there any real good reason to put the car back to original? (besides personal satisfaction)
It's not an M car and besides for my own personal value , the car will never be a true collectible. Would it hurt the value of the car if I decided on a different interior color?
Lastly , if there's anyone local (Houston TX) who would prefer some nice gray leather seats ( fronts , rears and rear AC console ) in trade for something closer to beige/lama please let me know.
