For those of you that have replaced your OEM runflats, what have you done when replacing the originals?
Do you have a favorite runflat?
My wife is the primary driver and I do like the piece of mind with the runflats, especially in Chicago.
Any additional costs in replacing, i.e., mounting & dismounting of the runflats?
Opinions and suggestions please.

I've had 2 sets of runflats with my car, the original Goodyear NCT Sport or whatever that came on my 16" 5 spoke Cooper wheels, and the Pirelli Euforias that are on my 17" S lites. What tires are available will depend on what wheels are on the car. Honestly, I won't be going back to runflats when these finally wear out, as my car was equipped with a spare as well and I'm not worried about changing a flat. If your wife isn't in to that kind of thing the runflats may be the best choice for her. Run a search on tirerack.com for the size tires on her car and you can sift through and find the runflats.
And yes, the runflats cost extra to dismount due to the extra stiff sidewalls and the runflat sensors on the wheels. A lot of times places will dismount and mount for free if you buy tires from them, if not, call around and ask them specifically how much they charge for the dismounting and mounting of runflat tires with sensors on the wheels. I was quoted as much as $15 per wheel for dismounting only when I was searching for a place to get my new tires installed. (which I ended up not getting).
Good luck.
