HELP! This brake dust on the wheels is out of control. I've never seen this much dust on any BMW or Audi I've owned.
The car is primarily my wife's, so there will be no "track days" only random, aggressive driving by me.
What are all of you running for pads to cut down on the dust and damage to the wheels?
By the way, I tired to doing a search, but came up empty.

Yeah, the brake dust is pretty ridiculous.
There is a pad called EBC Greenstuff that is very low dust, but I hear from a lot of people that they are tough on your rotors. My cousin has had 3 sets of them on his Honda Accord and neither of us have noticed any ill effects on his rotors. That would probably be your best bet for just tooling around town.
When I get some money together I want to get a set of Ferodo DS2500s which are essentially a track pad with enough initial bite to be workable on the street as well. They dust less than stock, but more than greenstuffs. Chances are they'll be a bit more expensive than you're looking for and would be a bit of overkill, especially since they won't stop as well as stock until they're heated up a bit.
Check out www.mini2.com and www.northamericanmotoring.com forums for some more input, they've got many many more members than we do.

Mintex Red Box pads. They're cheaper than the ebc's, easier on your stock rotors, and much less dust than stock. Braking power feels about the same. EBC's have better initial bite and maybe a little less dust, but they ruined my stock Audi rotors.
Make sure you use some of that goopy brake squeal stuff when installing the Mintex.

yeah our mini has TONS of break dust. dont mind it that much considering it gets washed alot and stays clean. i just clean the wheels. i'm so used to it by now from all the bmw's we've had.
ill be sure to check out those mintex pads though. it would be kinda nice not having an inch of brake dust on your wheels after a week of driving :stickoutt

Check out the official brake pad thread (I think its on the Auto-X/Drag/Track Racing forum). Like 4 pages of people talking about different kinds of pads.
