Like my 91 M5, it might be possible to reset with some combination of accel pedal taps, if you know the code. but presuming you have a 96+ OBDII car, you'll need to buy a tool such as sold by Peake Research. I got one and it works great. it's nice to be able to look up codes yourself.

1.) You can use a tool to reset the service light. Or a paper clip. No kidding.

Google it. Basically you jumper 2 pins on the diaganostic connection.

2.) You need a new coolant sensor in the expansion tank.

I use the paper clip method - it works just fine.

might take a couple tries, but it will reset.

7 and 19. Just slide it in (that's what she said) and leave it in there. Count to seven or so. Take it out.

All while key is on the second position (right before the engine starts)

paper clip if you don't have a peake tool.
