When I turn the key in the drivers side lock mechanism it locks but then the door automatically pop back up or when all of the doors and boot are closed and you lock the car by pressing the button the doors still don't lock. To lock the car you have to hold down the button on the door so when it tries to pop back up it can't and then lock each door and the boot individually. Close anyone know how to fix this ?? Could this just be a simple computer problem because the car hashed its service which my dad and myself did but it's going to bmw to have the oil service light reset.

Cheers,

Damo

It sounds like you have a faulty lock actuator. It could be any of them. Doors, trunk, gas filler flap. I would start by unplugging the gas filler flap actuator. if that doesn't fix it move on to the trunk lock actuator. If that doesn't fixi it move to each of the doors. You'll have to remove the door panels to disconnect the actutors in the doors.
