Good point. It would be good to check to make sure you do not have any internal bleeding

David do you think that the change from going to a solid rear setup change made a major change to what you were, or how you were used to the car behaving with the IRS/stock setup?

Sorry to see this, David.I hope you are ok.It definitely could have been much worse. Looks like the chassis took the hit very well. And from the video it looks like you were out of the groove as in the previous times when the car got loose before the solid rear install. Cars with that much power and a spool/welded differential will do exactly that when one tire is still hooked and the other brakes loose(that is what happens when you go out of the groove) you have to keep the car in the groove, if it is out you have to let off and when the car settles down correct the steering.with the power still applied trying to control the car is almost impossible in that situation.Below i posted the video from last year of your car when it got loose the same way before the solid axle install. Compare the two videos and you will see what i mean:

Thankfully you're ok! That much change in the chassis has to be all-new feeling. I know Jays car drove significantly different after the 4 link and he was still IRS. As long as you love the hobby you won't mind putting it back together.

thank for all your kind words guys
as the car damaged wasnt bad as all
mostly just suspension parts & fender flare only
also need a new set of wheels & broke the chute mount also
thank Boris for the infor on the problem with the car broke loose on both pass , i learn from that
in the mean time i have to recover from my sore shoulder ,before i started to work on the car again

You may be able to get away with just having the lips and barrels on the wheels replaced - the centers, for the most part, look ok.

Good news your are OK.
Is this the 1st run with your new chasis setup?
Maybe the "new" chasis is not set the correct way.
I am sure you will come back with 160 + ETs.

I was thinking the same. It obvious CCW makes some strong center. IMO, I'd replace the bolts though.

Glad your ok and that the red car wasn't t-boned.
Have you thought about reducing the width of the rear end? If your able to bring the tires in closer to the center of the car the better. The way your car turn in, I thought you broke an axle at first. Scary stuff.

Sorry for your crash. I didn't even have to see the video to know it happened at Sacramento. I've seen wrecks or heard of them much too often from that poorly prepped cow pasture.
