Maybe a leak at one of the header/manifold->midpipe junctions?

the only ticking i ever got with my m3 was the lifters sticking due to lack of oil or wear and tear.

Push on the clutch. If the sound changes, then it is the throw out bearing play. Mine does it, and it is annoying. Fairly new ACT clutch and happened ever since I changed it.

lmao i wish it was my plugs, just tried my throwout bearing, and the chatter does stop when the clutch is pressed -_- how long do you think it would last? its not chattering too bad now.

Sorry to bump, but I've checked my plugs and there stil seems to be a lot of ticking. It's not the throw out bearing. I'm getting ready to change my belts but not sure that would be it. Any help is appreciate thanks.
